Frequently asked questions
- What kind of photography does LuisnCars do?
- Three kinds of commission: track coverage (track days, races and motorsport events), art-directed editorial sessions with the car on location, and private events such as gatherings, meets and launches.
- Who does he work with?
- Collectors with a car that looks like nothing else, organizers who need the full day documented, and dealerships and brands that need inventory, catalogue and campaign work.
- Which circuits and events has he worked at?
- Among others, COTA, the Formula 1 Miami Grand Prix, Sonoma, Monticello and New York.
- Where is he based, and how far does he travel?
- LuisnCars is based in New York and travels all over the United States. For a commission outside the circuits he has already worked at, it helps to write with the date and the location so availability can be confirmed.
- Does he shoot video as well as stills?
- Yes. Every shoot is also told in short vertical video, the format this culture is consumed in every day. The latest ones are on the Videos page and the rest on the YouTube channel.
- What is the reference number on each photograph?
- The whole archive is numbered and every photo carries its reference, visible when you open it. It lets you ask about one specific photograph without having to describe it.
- How do you commission a shoot?
- Through the form on this page or by writing to luisncars@gmail.com. It helps to say what the car is, where it is and when you need it; the reply comes back with availability and a quote.
